Chandler was not a good fit for my dogs. Chandler has many activities and a desire to be home with his wife in the evenings which we were not aware of. My three Golden’s do not like being crated for hours and did not do well with this. If we had known they were going to be left every night, we would have had him put them in a room not a crate when he left. They are only used to being crated to sleep. We hired Chandler because he works from home and could be with them. I came home a day early with the understanding that he would credit me the money from that day to cover the cost of a brand new rug that my rescue chewed up when he wasn’t watching her. That did not happen. So he left a day early and I’m out the money to replace the rug. Just not a good experience. He is a nice person and I’m sure he would be fine for low maintenance dogs that don’t need a ton of attention. Golden’s like to be with people. We were very forthright in our meet and greet that we have an anxious rescue that requires extra attention.

Chandler did a GREAT job watching our two dogs. He was responsive through text and always sent messages/pics about how the dogs were doing. Our Doberman is in the chewing phase and got ahold of two books while Chandler wasn’t at the house. He saw that and ordered replacements for both books. Totally not his fault and we didn’t expect him to buy new ones, but that’s just an example of how serious he takes watching pets in your home. If we need a sitter again, it will most definitely be Chandler.
