I'm an old-ish lady who basically lives for cats and plants. I've had cats for over 40 yrs, have fostered and currently volunteer for Austin Pets Alive! and have experience socializing semi-feral kittens, administering meds and SQ fluids, and TNR. I'm no longer able to foster due to taking in an abandoned neighborhood cat who is antisocial and wants to murder the competition, so I really miss meeting new kitties and would love to spend some quality time with your cat(s).

I'll spend time getting to know your cat while also respecting their boundaries as well as your home. Got a skittish cat who prefers hiding under the bed rather than interacting with strangers? I can respect that and will give kitty plenty of space until they are comfortable with me. Got a confident cat with tons of energy? It's playtime with their favorite toys followed by a treat and lots of praise for excellent hunting skills. Got a total lapcat who just wants to hangout? I'm here for that with a warm lap and plenty of petting.

A typical day
Each visit will reflect the individual needs and personality of your kitty, but may include the following: exuberant or calm playtime, cuddles and lap-time, brushing, administering medication, feeding and changing water bowls, treats, litter box scooping, and sending adorable cat pics so you know your kitty is safe and well. I can also care for your houseplants, feed your fish, and bring in the mail/packages if needed.
