Pet care experience
I am patient and good with animals. I have fostered 20+ rescue dogs over the last 3 years of all different sizes and breeds. I have experience in basic dog trainings like leash, potty, and crate training. I have dealt with reactive dogs, separation anxiety dogs, overly-hyper dogs. Dogs have always been a part of my life; I grew up with a German shepherd and 2 pugs back in Vietnam and now in NYC I occasionally dogsit for my friends. I do this because I love meeting all the dogs and hanging out with them. P.S. I got by Sammy, my legal name is Chan. Feel free to call me Sammy as well :)

I had such a wonderful experience overnight boarding my dog with Chan! We had a meet and greet which did wonders for Teddy’s anxiety being away from home and Chan sent me regular picture and video updates which allowed me to rest easy knowing Teddy was well taken care of. Chan was very flexible when I needed to change any drop off / pick up times and was very attentive to Teddy’s needs as she has a slipped disc and some recurrent pain associated with it. It’s easy to tell that Chan really loves and cares for dogs and I already have her booked again for my next trip out of town :)
Sammy was a rockstar! She was quick to reply, sent many videos/pics, and made it easy for me to leave Olive in her care. Olive is very timid, and she warmed up quickly to Sammy. Thank you Sammy for everything!

My building and apartment are dog-friendly. I live in a 1 bed apartment with husband with no children nor pets of our own. Our apartment is pet-proof to welcome any furry friends over. I have a large open-space living room for plenty of playtime and zoomies.

A typical day
I am easygoing and can accommodate any lifestyles that your dog has whether it is a high-energy dog who prefers long walks or a low-energy dog who prefers cuddling and sleeping. I can stimulate your dog physically and mentally. I have dog puzzles and can make a sniffing mat. I love walking my foster dog along the water and meeting other neighbor dogs in the Seaport area.

I work from home 100% so my schedule is relatively flexible. I typically walk the dog every 4 hours from 8am to 9pm. I'm mostly home and there's rarely a time that I leave the dog alone for more than 5 hours.
