Pet care experience
I love cats! I have been around cats all my life growing up on a farm and have personally had three cats of my own as an adult. I wish I could adopt and save them all honestly. Spending time with them, playing, feeding and cleaning up their spaces is an every day event in my household, and I can assist with yours!

My husband and I currently have two cats of our own. Our very first cat together, our baby, recently passed from stomach cancer in 2022. Heartbreaking to lose pet! We have so much love for our pets and receive joy from their company every single day. They are treated like family and we do everything we can for them, including spoiling with new toys and treats. I treat every animal like they are my own, and how I would want someone treating my cats.

For cats, I would just like to know about their personality. What they respond to, activity level, what helps them come out of their hiding places if scared of new people, as well as their favorite hiding places. I would like to make sure they are okay before leaving the house if too frightened to come out. One of my cats is terrified of every person, animal and sound. I know how that goes! :)
A typical day
For cats, activity and social level will depend on what happens during my visit. If they like to play with toys or lots of pets and snuggles, that is what they will get. If they want space, I will just make sure they are okay and have everything they need.

Availability
I currently work from home, using a laptop and phone from 8 AM - 5 PM, but very flexible on where I can work. Answering emails and phone calls is my normal routine but I can drag my computer anywhere and make time for drop ins around my area.
