I've been around dogs my entire life, and currently my family has 4 rescues. Meeting a new person can be really stressful for some dogs, so I take care to establish a trusting relationship with your dogs from the very second I meet them! For example, I kneel down to their level when introducing myself - without hovering in their personal space- , keep my tone of voice calm and loving, and definitely offer treats when available. I love running with your dog and throwing toys, playing tug of war, teaching them new commands, or just being couch potatoes together. I offer 30 minute walks, 30 minute house visits, unlimited cuddles (or not, if your dog isn't a fan), and whatever treats your pets love! It's so important to treat dogs with respect, compassion, and understanding. They're just like people in so many ways, and my life wouldn't be complete without them.
