Experienced Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs and find it very fulfilling to work with them. I am a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer. With certificates in courses for training shelter dogs and teaching private lessons. I enjoy and have experience working with many breeds of varying sizes, shapes, and personalities. I have been working with dogs for the past 5 years. Have been a dog trainer for 4 of them. I have worked in a boarding facility, volunteered at shelters, and with rescues. For the last two years I have been the manager and lead daycare attendant at a dog daycare. I have been pet first aid certified and will be getting re-certified this year. I have a working relationship with local animal hospitals and also with local rescues. I can provide employer, colleague, and client references. I have access to dog parks and a doggie daycare fenced in yard. I enjoy taking walks with dogs, play training, and a good game of fetch. Thank you for your consideration!
Reviews
Chad is a superstar when it comes to training and caring for my dog Rose. He has been a great resource for us for almost 2 years. He only uses positive reinforcement to establish a fun loving relationship with dogs. His endless knowledge of the canine specie has come in handy many times, we even have this saying at our house when there is an issue with Rose ; "What would Chad do?". He truly is fantastic, reliable, responsible and all around a great person that will make you dog's tail go crazy!
Chad Parker has been working with Justice For Dogs Rescue for several years! Chad has worked with some of our more challenging dogs and I have seen amazing results ! Chad understands dogs and is very concerned for their well being and safety !
Chad came to us as a trainer for our new puppy. Chad gave my family the tools to raise a happy, well behaved dog. Chad used his gentle way to walk each one of us through techniques used for training. We then hired Chad to walk our growing pup a few times a week and he became a fantastic leash walker! We have since added 3 more dogs to the family and have used Chads training and advice with each. Cannot speak highly enough about the work Chad does!!
I cannot say enough great things about Chad! He’s an excellent dog trainer and care provider. Our family chose Chad to care for our dog because he’s passionate about giving dogs positive learning experiences and works well with both canines AND humans. Our dog absolutely adores him. He’s patient, knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsible, & highly observant. Chad guides us with insight and steps we can take for anything we need related to our dog’s behavior. We fully trust that Chad gives each animal he works with a high level of care. We are confident giving him a strong recommendation.

I have a dog Bella and though I don't have a fenced in yard I have harnesses I put on the dogs when we leave the apartment. Along with doggie seat belt. I am saving for GPS tracing for each dog that comes into my care.
Information Chad P. would like to know about your pet
How they are on walks? How they are when outside? Do they have training? Are they human or dog aggressive? I will not work with human or dog aggressive dogs. Do they resource guard? Do they have a favorite toy or treat? Where do they love to be scratched? Any dogs needing medication must have typed instructions.
A typical day
I love playing games, and giving dogs attention. I try to incorporate some type of training in everything we do whether it be playing or leaving the house, or feeding times. Dogs love to work with us and if we make every activity an opportunity to learn and work with us than the dog is getting much more out of our time together. For safety all walks will be on leash, in harnesses, in safe areas like the rail trail or quiet path. I prefer any outdoor play be in a secure fenced in yard but will bring a long leash for optimal play.
