A young couple seeking to provide a home for your furry child while you are away at work or traveling. We provide all the love and attention they could ask for. Growing up we had five dogs, three cats, and even horses. When we pet sit, we only take one owners pet(s) at a time. This ensures your pet(s) get our undivided attention, and avoids potential conflict between pets who are unfamiliar with each other. We recently inherited my grandmothers dog as she was no longer able to take care for her. Her name is Lucy, she is a 12 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Very sweet to humans, warms up to other dogs with a proper introduction. Before pet sitting we require a meeting between Lucy and your fur child. We can meet at the local park, so the two are on an equal playing field. We are saving to buy a sailboat and travel the world, so we cant own one of our own. I work from home everyday, your pet will be with me 24/7! I walk to a coffee shop most mornings, and go on walks in the afternoons to take a break from work. We live near an off lease dog park where your pet can socialize and burn off energy. If your pet needs additional exercise, I would love to take them on a run or play fetch. We derive our discipline approach using Cesar Milans philosophy on energy. Calm, cool, and assertive. During our initial meetup, we believe in the no touch, no talk, no eye contact with your dog. We begin the conversation with you, ask about your furry friend, and then ask to be introduced to your pet. We will gladly reinforce any training or behaviors you may be working on. Don't think we are cold hearted! We give plenty of love, but there are boundaries we keep. Look forward to meeting you, but more excited to meet your pups!
