Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of dogs and cats my whole life, currently in my own home I own two leopard geckos (Gaia & Tartarus), a rescue cat (Cleo), a 2 yr old rescue bully mutt (Kali) and an 8 month old border collie (Indy)! I love and have a passion for animals, currently I volunteer with Alamo City Pitbull Rescue and before college I volunteered both at my local vets office and the San Antonio zoo. I am open to taking care of almost all animals of any size, shape, breed or species. However if you have a particularly unique animal, detailed instructions would be much appreciated. I also have experience taking care of elderly and special needs animals.

Cerina saved me on such short notice. Excellent communication & follow up. Love the pics of my “Tag”. And is not afraid to suggest a change to my plan, which I very much appreciated. I asked her to leave him outside on the last day since we’d be home by noon. She let me know that he weather turned really cold and wanted to be sure I still wanted my 11 yr old outside. I quickly changed my mind!!! obviously she has a big heart for her pup clients. Will definitely ask for her services again!!

I am unfortunately not open to boarding animals in my own house as I have a young puppy. However, I am available for dog walking, house sitting, + drop ins at the clients house. I am available to feed and takeout the pet before and after work. My regular work hours are 8am-5pm. If you would like your dog walked or exercised I am also available to do that after work. If you have a specific schedule for your pet I can also try to plan my regular work day around that to the best of my ability. I am available to meet before I actually take care of your pet if you have specific instructions, requests, want to introduce the pet to me, etc. However, if you would like to meet before hand and you are a male I ask to please have a female also present during this initial meeting (it is not required but would be greatly appreciated). If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me, I am available by phone all day. I look forward to hopefully meeting you and your pet!

I ask that all dogs be relatively friendly with humans, no overly aggressive or territorial dogs please. I also ask that puppies be at least 4 months old. If you’re dog has separation anxiety, leash/food/toy aggression, or other quirks please specify that. I also know that a lot of pet boarders, doggy daycares, and dog walkers won’t take what they deem “aggressive breeds” or “bad breeds” (Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans etc). I however don’t believe in “bad breeds” and have owned/raised them most my life and am more than happy to dog sit or walk yours too!
A typical day
At the owners request I like to provide stimulating activities for dogs such as snuffle mats, food/treat puzzles, and nutritious stuffed treat kongs. I also love playing fetch, walking or even running (if the dog is up to it!) with dogs to help them get the exercise they need and any extra energy they have out.

Availability
I currently work in an office Monday and Tuesday from 8am-5pm with a one hour lunch and work from home Wednesday through Friday. I am available to take care of your pet before work, during lunch and after my normal office job on Monday and Tuesdays. On Wednesday-Fridays I will be available all day to pop in or even to stay the day and let your dog relax in the comfort of their own home out of the kennel.
