Home full-time, love walks

Pet care experience

I’m looking for long-term clients. A little about me: I work remotely so I'm home full-time. Pet care style: I'm patient and respectful of their space and ways. I don't believe in punishment, physical or verbal. I don't do crates, play dress up and, in general, I don't feel comfortable imposing anything. I let them be who they are. My home should be a welcoming, stress-free, loving, active, and caring environment for your pup. Your pup would be joining my pup Choco and I on our daily routine. We go on 15-to-30-minute walks three times during the day. We play fetch every two hours. (The discipline required when you're working from home entails scheduling everything, including down time!) Like Choco, your pup would be allowed everywhere in our home, a duplex with plenty of space for them to play and run. You're welcome to set up a Furbo dog camera or something similar in our living room downstairs to say hi to your pet whenever you want. I can also send pictures/videos daily and on demand. Availability disclaimer/restrictions: In the event that I’m away (travels), my long-time personal friend and sitter would be taking care of your pup. You’re welcome to meet her in advance. I don’t trust my Choco to anyone else. I may occasionally have to leave for a doctor's appointment, and I go to the gym between 12:30 and 2:30, usually for 1 1/2 hours. You'd be notified every time when any of these happens, at the beginning and end of the appointments/sessions. You can certainly ask questions you may have about me, my home, and my baby Choco. Hope to meet you soon!

We could not be happier working with Centa, who is a loving and professional caregiver for our 7lb Maltipoo, Piper. We send Piper to Centa’s home regularly for daycare. We love that Piper light ups with excitement and runs to our front door when we tell her she is “going to Choco’s house” (Choco is Centa’s Maltipoo). I appreciate Centa’s flexibility with my erratic work and travel schedule, which sometimes requires early morning drop offs, late evening pick-ups, and even overnight stays. I know my fur baby is being loved and well-cared for in Centa’s charge. We are thrilled to have found Centa through Rover!

Centa was fantastic with our dog Maggie. Maggie is an older dog who needs some extra time and attention. Centa took that on and went above and beyond our expectations. We would love to book with her again.

Centa is an amazing person and a big dog lover. I can't stress how responsible, respectful, caring and loving she is with dogs. She has watched my little Einstein a few times and I couldn't be happier. She carefully followed the requests I had and she took great care of my four legged baby. In addition, her dog and mine became best friends and now Einstein is almost a part of their family. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter.

I very highly recommend Centa to care for anyone's beloved pet. She's the best dog mom ever to her own little guy, and he is thoroughly spoiled and loved. I'm not fortunate enough to have a dog in my apartment, but she's cared for my two cats. One is outgoing and sassy and the other is very shy, and they both love her!

Information Centa R. would like to know about your pet

We'd love to host friendly pups with no history of violent behavior. I love dogs, any breed, size, and shape, but I can't host large dogs because my pup gets really shy around them.

A typical day

For walks, we prefer strolling around the neighborhood and Logan Circle. Get coffee in Blagden Alley or Streets Market. Play catch is an all-time favorite. I would love to know you dog's favorite activities! We're open to ideas, suggestions, and preferences.
