I don't remember a time in my life where I have not had or been connected to a dog, cats have also been around for a lot of my life. For all of my married life we have had dogs, anywhere from 1-3 and 2 cats during much of that time. So I have definitely gone through all the stages of our pets lives. From puppy to holding them at the end, injuries and illness, loving and learning. We currently have 2 dogs but shared in rescuing 5 others along with 2 cats. I can't ever imagine my life without dogs so what better way to share that love then help those caring pet owners that need a little assistance from time to time! I enjoy watching my grandchildren 3 days a week but on the other days I can be available to help you in caring for your pet family! I can walk, feed, run, play fetch or catch or just run around. I can stay the night if your pet is nervous about being alone or just drop in to be sure they aren't creating their own fun with your home furnishings ;) If socialization is needed, I live near a small dog park. I have a fenced in yard that has been dog secured if day stays are needed. I am able to keep my dogs secure and safe while caring for guest dogs. I have many grandpuppies that come to visit so we have developed a safe routine. For example: when at my home we have protocols that we use when feeding times arise so as not to cause issues. When at a clients home, I will follow given instructions and care for them as you would. Routine can be important, especially for dogs with anxiety issues. People want to be assured that their pets are being well cared for, and it is my intention to provide just that.
