Pet care experience
I have 10+ years caring for animals of all kinds. I have cared for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish, equines and all sort of farm animals. I have house sat many times before and have a Veterinary Tech degree. I grew up with both cats and dogs, I currently have 2 cats. Now that I am no longer at home I have not been able to own a dog of my own and miss it. I love dogs and what they bring to a house and a family. I love playing with them, hanging out with them and just being with dogs. I worked at a pet store for 5 years, 2 of which I was a manager. I am more than knowledgeable and capable of caring for your fur (or fishy or scaly) baby while you are away. While watching your furry friend we will play, hang out and they would get plenty of scratches and pats from me. We would go exploring outside and they will get plenty of love from me. My availability right now is a little limited seeing as I do work full time. I am currently booking out at the end of August, the start of September. I do have a 9 month old daughter and she would be with me while caring for your baby. If I am house sitting over night, my daughter will not be with me. She will be home with her daddy. My daughter's name is Haleigh. It has been a struggle for me, as a working full time mom, to be there for my baby. Child care is very expensive and at this point in time I can no longer justify working to pay for childcare. She has also been very sick and I no longer have any time at my work to take off to care for her. Her daddy does a great job, and has been home with her. Sadly her health issues have started to get worse and her daddy in a manager at a facility and can only take so much time off. With her health issues and not having enough time to take off to care for her, on top of paying for childcare. I have turned to alternative routs to care for my child while making an income. Celia is patient and kind to my pets. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. She not only knows how to handle my young, energetic dog firmly but lovingly she but she also is able to handle my 10 year old shepherd who is anxious, hard of hearing, and has severe hip dysplasia. She not only serves their basic needs of letting them out but also plays with them and gives them attention during her visits, let's me know if she's worried anything is wrong or notices something out of the ordinary. My yard us fenced but Celia will throw a ball for them, play tug-o-war and pick up after the dogs in the yard, Celia will follow any training/behavior guidelines you ask her to further assist you in training or maintaining training. I would highly recommend Celia for any of your dog or pet needs as she also has mouse, rat, cat, fish, and reptile experience.
