Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm, we’ve had pets since before I can remember. I have always been the person to pick up and keep a stray or foster till it finds a home. I believe all animals deserve all the love and affection. Right now I have a year old miniature golden doodle named Ginger and a domestic long haired cat named Odin. I try my hardest to give them their best lives. We have spa days, play outside and inside, cuddle up and watch movies. We take daily walks and go outside. I also make frozen lick mats for brain stimulation: I have trained Ginger on my own- we have mastered crate training, sit, stay, and shake. If needed I’m sure I could convince your pup to follow along. I have administered oral medication and can provide the care each person needs.

Celia would make an amazing addition to the Rover family. Throughout my years I have had a total of 4 dogs. In the previous 14 months we have added a new addition to the family (DOVAHKIIN). Which my (sister-in-law) Celia; made it a point to help me navigate through new forms of training styles, learning toys, feeding habits for the new puppy. Celia has also introduced me to crate training; something I never had done. She understood that dogs and/or cats require a safe space. In this case she helped establish new boundaries of teaching styles. Showed me the most effective ways in training; not just the dogs but the individual owner. She exemplified patience, understanding, and great care. She would make the time to take on responsibilities when time wouldn’t allow me to be present. Overall, Celia is a great candidate for Rover.
I have known Celia most of her life. She is caring, dependable, compassionate, honest and a lover of pets. She would take very good care of any pet left in her care. I would not hesitate to hire her.

I do not have fenced in yard, but I make sure every animal gets the right amount of enrichment whether that’s through long leash play, long walks, luck mats or indoor games. I like to spread kibble on a towel, roll it and have my dog sniff and unroll it for a game. I can follow your instructions clearly and make sure we are in open communication about you and your pets needs. I have a pet so I understand needing updates when you are gone or if I’m just taking them for a walk!

A typical day
My dog and I love to explore and go on new adventures! We love to take hikes- we’ve been to garden of the gods, Rend lake hiking trails, on the boat, to flea markets… basically anywhere you can bring your dog. But from day to day we do our daily hour long walks, play some fetch in the yard, and the most important cuddle!

Availability
I’m currently a student, and I will be returning to school in the fall but for now I’m free to help and make sure you and your pet are well taken care of. I usually get up early in the morning and go to bed around 10pm so I have all day to hangout with them. For my own dog we have a routine of waking up around 8am, going outside for 30 minutes, come back for breakfast, chill then go out again around noon for games and fun then repeat every 4 hours.
