Pet care experience
I grew up with a stellar terrier who taught me from a young age to respect and love animals. Since moving to RI in 2018, I have spent 50+ hours walking dogs at Animal Rescue Rhode Island. Through this volunteer experience, I have gotten comfortable walking with and keeping safe dogs of all sizes. I have walked dogs with high anxiety/fear of cars, dogs with medical conditions such as seizures, and dogs who do not like to be touched.

My dog loves staying with Celeste! She is patient, positive, and treats every dog like they're her own. My dog can be a little tricky to walk, so I really appreciate that Celeste is accommodating of that. I also appreciate that Celeste has a lot of experience with dogs and even volunteers at the local animal shelter. Pearl and I can't recommend Celeste highly enough!
Celeste is an excellent dog caregiver. I've watched her interact with my dog on numerous occasions, including day hikes, dog walks, and overnight dog sitting situations. Every interaction has been positive - both for my dog and myself. Her love for all animals is evidenced not only by her eagerness to care for dogs, but also her vegan-lifestyle. When preparing to care for your dog, she will be pro-active and detail-oriented about your dog's needs. As much as I hate being separated from my dog, I trust that she is in good hands as long as Celeste is in charge.
Celeste has been walking dogs for our organization for the past 16 months. She is reliable, dedicated and great with each and every one of them!

Availability
I'm working part time on research continuing from my masters thesis at URI, but I control my own hours completely and often work from home. When I am in town, I am likely to be quite free to walk dogs.
