My name is Celeste! I’m 21 years old and I’m a double science major at University of Northern Iowa. I’m from Virginia and back home, my family has a rescue dog named Darko. We’ve had him since he was 3 and he turns 11 this year. These 8 years we have cared for him have been a real joy from his younger days chasing frisbees around to his senior days now lounging about the house. He has anxiety issues so I am familiar with how to deal with those issues. I have a pretty simple dog treat recipe and I have never met a dog who didn’t like them. I also have experience caring for primarily reptiles as well as aquatic animals (fish, axolotls, turtles, etc.), but I am familiar with amphibian, and cat husbandry too. I really enjoy being around animals and showing them love particularly when their pet parent perhaps can’t be around as often as they would like to be.
