Pet care experience
I have always had a passion for animals. From growing up on an exotic game farm with a veternarian for a father, animals have always been a central part of my life. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology along with 9 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, exotics, and small mammals in veterinary clinics, animal rehabilitation centers, and currently working with marine mammals at SeaWorld. I am well versed in animal husbandry and care including administering injections and medicationas as well as operant conditioning techniques. I understand how leaving your furry family while on vacation can be difficult. I'll do my very best to help you be at ease with open communication, photos, and updates of my visits. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or to set up a meet and greet with your animal(s). It is unfortunately impossible for me to do mid-day visits during my work week, however, I am very flexible outside of my work hours, and I will do my best to accommodate all visits, walks, and overnight stays! I have known Celena for many years now and I would trust her to look after any of my animals 100%. She has worked with caring for a variety of different animals throughout her career and is honestly one of the best people I have ever met in my life. She is responsible, sympathetic, organized, proactive and has the biggest heart for animals. I always felt like I could relax when I was away from my cats and she was the one looking after them. I always got updates along with pictures of my cats to make me feel better while I was away! Celena is also very thorough and pays attention to details so if you leave her a list with instructions you can trust that she will follow through. She won’t just look after your pets but she is the type of person that will go the extra mile to come up with fun and creative enrichment ideas for them to keep them active and entertained! She keeps everything cleaned and even has excellent training advice! Plus she has a Veterinarian in the family so I felt like if there were ever any issues she would notice them and be more prepared than your average pet sitter. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Celena. She is the sweetest person and you can guarantee your pets will be loved and well cared for :)
I have known Celena for over 10 years. In my time knowing her, she has proven to be a completely competent canine caregiver. She possesses a warm and loving personality that any pup or human would want as their friend. She is especially organized, timely, and responsible. I highly recommend her for all of your doggy caregiving needs.
I have known Celena for over 8 years, and in that time she has taken care of my fur babies on many occasions. Of note, my little dog (Louise) has a seizure disorder and as you can imagine leaving her when I'm out of town or on late nights from work is so very difficult. That being said I feel at complete ease knowing I left her in very capable hands. Celena has no issues with Louise's medication regimen and always texts me with updates and pictures from walks and cuddles. She's so affectionate with my pups and took great care to really get to know them and their specific quirks when they first met. I have no doubt that her background in animal behavior has an impact on how wonderful and competent she is. I can't say enough good about Celena and truly hope she never leaves, myself and my furries would miss her so!
Celena is hands down the best dog/animal person ever!! She really understands the behavior of animals and their needs. She will treat you four legged child like it is one of her own. She is one of the few people I trust with my blind, diabetic lab. She understands the medical side and the loving side. My dog and my mean cat (Lol) paws down vote for her as a babysitter
