Pet care experience
I have over 20 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, to include dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, and other smalls animals. I offer pet & house sitting, animal boarding, drop in care, dog daycare and dog walking. I do offer a pet taxi service with any booking, for a small added fee. I also provide complimentary garden care, bird feeder maintenance and house plant care with all house sitting services. When boarding smaller animals like rabbits and guinea pigs they will be kept in exercise pens to keep them away from larger animals for safety purposes. We have a small selection of various sized crates available for crate trained pets up to 125lbs. We only crate at the owners request, crates are sanitized after each stay. We have a large fenced in yard that is serviced by a pet waste removal company, disinfected, and treated for fleas and ticks. All of our furniture is pet friendly and cleaned between guests. I have experience with many different breeds, and I excel with more “stubborn” breeds like chows or huskies. I also have experience and training administering oral meds and injections, even IV meds. I have a fenced yard at the end of a quiet cul de sac, with 24 hour live video monitoring inside and outside of our home that is viewable from my phone so your furry friends have top notch security. My yard is treated regularly for fleas and ticks, and I employ a pet waste removal service. This ensures your pets are in a clean and safe environment. I am licensed, bonded and insured, so your family has additional protection on top of the Rover Guarantee.

Profiles for all pets receiving care must be completed prior to booking. Please ensure to read my profile in its entirety before sending your booking request. For insurance purposes, I require an emergency contact phone and email address at the confirmation of your booking. For all new boarding requests I require a mandatory 5 hour daycare trial in addition to a meet and greet. Meets are $20, which is applied to your daycare trial, lowering the daycare rate. This is to ensure my time spent meeting prospective clients is compensated should you choose a different sitter. All pets are required to have proof of up to date vaccines, yearly fecal exams, and proof of flea and tick preventative. If your pet arrives with fleas there is a non negotiable $150 cleaning fee. Please note that by booking a stay with me you agree to these policies. Please let me know ahead of time if your pet requires any medication, and if they have any allergies or behavioral issues.
A typical day
We will talk walks, play fetch in the yard. Visit local dog parks and look for squirrels. All kinds of fun! I like making walks as stimulating as possible.

Availability
I own and operate The Creature People LLC as a full time pet care professional with my partner who is also a full time pet care professional. We are members of Pet Sitters International, and we are bonded and insured by Business Insurers of the Carolinas. This means your furry family members will have 24/7 care and attention, from industry professionals, not just average pet sitters. I also groom 2-3 times a week out of my home, if you would like to add grooming onto your service please let me know.
