I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I currently have 2 shelties. I got my first when I was 7 years old and have been caring for dogs ever since. I got my second just 2 years ago and trained her myself. Because of my own dogs, I have a fair share of experience with both senior dogs and puppies. This includes basic training, cleaning, treating minor injuries, administering medications, and putting on leg braces. I also volunteer as a dog walker at a shelter near my college, where I am continuing to train to be able to help the more high-needs dogs. I have quite a bit of free time over the summer so why not spend it with dogs? I also know some ASL.
