Pet care experience
After my dog of 14 years passed, I entered the dog sitting business to have a continued relationship with dogs while simultaneously volunteering at the PAWS wildlife refuge. I am great with older dogs and have cared for many dogs that require medication and special attention. The fluffier the dog the better. I enjoy a dog that can be a friend and a cuddle buddy as well. I have experience dog-sitting from my home as well as staying at the dog's home to make sure they are most comfortable. I get along with female and male dogs the same. Great with all breeds and mixes. I am careful and observant and pay close attention to your dog's needs. With my newest addition, (Roux), I have the ability to have my dog and your pets interact while being cared for. My dog is friendly with other breeds and loves a good play time. I am an easy-going and athletic person, who enjoys the company of others, especially if they have four-legs. I like to pamper my pups as much as possible and give them my love. I am youthful and spirited and very friendly. I have over 8 years experience volunteering in animal shelters as a dog walker and kennel attendant.
Reviews
Cecelia is great! She’s super friendly, responsive, and flexible. She came over prior to housesitting in order to meet the dogs—who instantly loved her, of course. We’d 100% book again.
Cecelia is fantastic. She takes great care of our extra sensitive dog and she is a great communicator. She goes the extra mile by checking in on our needs to make sure our guy gets the most love and care possible. It’s so nice to not have to worry about him while being on vacation. She also takes excellent care of our home and leaves everything tidy. Can’t recommend her strongly enough!
Cecelia made us feel very secure about how our pets were doing under her care, and we were very happy with her communication and her care for our animal pals. We will definitely re-book Cecelia!
Mature and Attentive. Cecelia did great with our senior dachshund.

Safety, trust & environment
I mainly care for dogs in their own home in order to allow them to feel safe in a familiar environment with a stranger. If I were to care for your pup(s) in my own home, they would have plenty to explore. I have a sizable backyard overlooking a green belt and away from lots of traffic noise. My home is completely fenced off, and has access to a detached garage with a doggy door for any pups to rest or nap inside of.
Information Cecelia J. would like to know about your pet
I have a love and appreciation for all breeds. While my love for dogs extends to all, I would like to know how to make them most comfortable before handling them. If they are timid around other breeds, have any medical concerns or need specific commands or training, I’m willing to cater to their needs.
A typical day
While Seattle doesn’t have many off leash areas for man’s best friend, I like to walk through trails or neighborhoods in the South Seattle area. Beacon Hill has a great boulevard for walks and Seward Park speaks for itself. I also like to socialize dogs with other and frequent the dog park in Genessee often.
