Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in my household my whole life. In high school, I started dogsitting for neighbors, building my reputation as a qualified care giver. In college, I volunteered for Guide Dog Foundation, an organization that raises puppies to become service dogs. Here, I learned exceptional training skills and was responsible for the health and safety of the puppies including feeding, grooming, medicine administration, transportation to vet visits and avoiding unsafe situations such as attacks from off leash dogs. As a testament to my hard work, my first dog is now a working guide for a visually impaired individual and my second dog is a breeder for the program.

Cecelia is extremely reliable and knowledgable on all things dog! She has personally raised two service animals in training, one that we raised together. She loves dogs and is very trustworthy. I would definitely let her watch any of my dogs.
I have seen Cecelia raise two different Guide Dogs for the Blind, and she is absolutely wonderful with them. It takes an incredible amount of patience, consistency and intentionality to train these puppies. Her love for dogs has been clearly displayed through her participation and leadership in the program, and her character is best spoken for by the love her dogs show her in return. I would trust her any day to care for my pup!
Cecelia is a very trustworthy and responsible person who loves all fur babies. She has successfully raised two puppies as part of the University of Georgia’s guide dog program where the dogs are socialized and prepared with basic training before they go off to New York to be taught to work with blind people. She also dog sits many friends and neighbor’s fur babies as well as other participants in the guide dog program. Cecelia also became a leader in the guide dog program helping to train other participants and their puppies. You will not be disappointed!

I live in a wonderful neighborhood with my parents who can give the pup some extra love. A tired pup is a good pup, so I can either take your dog for walks or can play with them in the fenced in yard. No other dogs here so have no fear if your dog isn’t as social—they will love playing with me!

In general, I like to know a typical daily routine that you have with your pet as well as a bit about his or her personality. By getting to know them on their terms, I can keep them happy!
A typical day
For dogs that enjoy outings, I love taking them on walks around the neighborhood or one of the many nearby parks. I also have a hidden talent of finding each dogs favorite spot to be pet—whether it’s a belly rub, butt scratch or ear rub. Your dog is sure to feel pampered with me.

I currently work from home so my schedule is flexible. The only time I would not be available is if I am out of town. I am open to both on-going and flexible schedules.
