I used to own a Shih-tzu, named Tickle, for about 10 or 11 years. He was a very high maintainance dog with a gluttonous appetite and was in need of constant grooming. I loved him very much and was always enthusiastic to come home from school to take him on long walks. Although his energy and endurance was nothing to brag about—he would actually quit exercising mid-run and plop on the ground—I believe my own goes to show that I am willing to go the distance when it comes to animal health, especially with dogs. I also have experience with caring for my neighbor’s two German Shepherds (mixed). I am currently a Rutgers student, so I would like owners to be aware that I do try to take a summer course or two and strive to work multiple jobs. However, I am always available to dog sit or walk on weekends. This summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays I am unavailable from 6pm-8pm due to the course I am currently taking. Still, conditions change so I may be able to squeeze in an hour or two if class is canceled or if I’m not needed at work. Lastly I want owners to trust me for your dogs are in good hands. I treat dogs with gentle but stern care and am always on top of schedule. For now I am willing to walk three dogs a day as I have just started on Rover, however that may change soon.
