Pet care experience
We're a very healthy and conscientious couple. We've each had half a dozen dogs, cats, chickens, etc. in our lives and have loved them and trained them well and always made sure they were fed, let out, and exercised regularly. Animals are so cool! I (Caylon) work full time m-f at a very flexible remote job . I do sometimes travel for work but I always keep my calendar up-to-date. Let us help you out. Our home is not typically available to host pets, but I am happy to visit your creature in your home and to take them to the many nearby beautiful parks, open spaces, and dog parks, and at your home we can ensure safety to your pet and your household. I love to get daily exercise myself so it supports me to take your dogs for walks. My wife Yara and I tend to stay local and reduce our carbon footprint, but taking care of your pet is our priority and we will be there to care for them. We have two vehicles and fairly good control of our schedules, to make sure we can be there when we're needed. We live in such a beautiful land and we're surrounded by accessible parks, trails, and dog areas. We both love to be around animals and can't wait to give pets and love. We also keep clean households and appreciate when your home is ready for our arrival and we promise to leave your home in as good or better condition than we find it.

Caylon and Yara were great with Danno, who is a high-energy, larger dog that was adopted not too long ago and can have some anxieties. Danno was walked and handled competently and was affectionate to Caylon as he departed (which is a telltale sign!). Caylon and Yara were punctual, communicated well and left things very clean. I appreciate their being here.
Yara was wonderful. She took great care of our pup, sent pictures with updates and was very responsive. We will definitely use her again as would highly recommend!
Thankfully, Caylon and Yara came to our rescue when we couldn't locate a local (to us) sitter for our fur baby, Noel. They took Noel in for three days, updating us on her status through periodic pictures and messages. It was clear that Noel was in very good hands, giving us piece of mind while vacationing in nearby Beaufort. We highly recommend Caylon and Yara for your pet sitting needs!
Caylon & Yara were absolutely fantastic sitters to my two cats; I definitely recommend them! My holiday cat care plans changed at the last minute, so their quick response to my request was a huge relief. They were kind, respectful, and very caring, truly going above and beyond what I would ask of a sitter. My plans continued to fluctuate due to COVID issues, and they were beyond helpful in working with me to ensure that the cats were taken care of. It is always stressful leaving my cats behind when I travel, but it was a whole lot easier knowing that they were getting love and care from Caylon and Yara while I was away. I truly cannot say enough positive things about these sitters! Many, many thanks to you both ?

We prefer dog sitting in your own home where your furry friends are already familiar and feel safe. That way the pet will be more comfortable, experience less separation anxiety, and know where their bed, food, and toys are. We work hard to introduce ourselves and make friendly with you and your animals before your departure so there is no uncertainty for you or us that your home and pets are in safe hands, and that we will feel comfortable approaching your pets when you're not around. My wife and I are fairly clean people and offer assurances that your space will be taken care of and will be found at least as clean as you left it.

A typical day
I often walk around Fort Macon, Rotary park in Morehead and more. We're so fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful beaches, trails and parks. I'd love to hear about some of your favorite places too.

Availability
With our remote with we have fairly good control of our schedules. We appreciate the time we get to spend with animals and make a priority of being with them as much as possible.
