As a college student, I frequently have to say “see ya in 3 months” to my beloved dog, Theo. I have raised him since he was 6 weeks old and together we’ve explored waterfalls, gone paddleboarding, swam in Lake Michigan, been on a road trip just the two of us, and become best friends. Although I can’t promise the same adventure aspect for your dog, I can promise the love and undivided attention. When it comes to walks, I’m great at finding the balance between training moments (heel, sit, “leave it,” etc) and “puppy moments.” For drop-ins, I won’t just half-heartedly check in on your dog and leave, but rather give them the attention they need and deserve. As a dog-owner and lover myself, I would take care of your best friend as if they were my own.
