I started walking dogs for neighbors at 8 yrs old to earn money for candy and toys. That turned in to me pet sitting and from there I started bringing home stray animals and posting found flyers. When the owners didn't come forward I would beg to keep them so they didn't go to the pound. At one point my family had 5 dogs and 3 cats. I have always been an animal lover and have done everything from bottle feeding squirrels, kittens, and puppies to raising ducks and chickens.
