I have 3 dogs of my own and live in South Salt Lake. My dogs and I are a pretty active crew. We love hiking, going for walks, going to the dog park, snowshoeing and generally being outdoors. Why I love dog sitting I worked in rescue for years then moved into the training field. I currently foster dogs with a local rescue and am one of their trainers as well. I started my own dog training, pet sitting and dog walking business in 2014 and love it! Meet my pets I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are well socialized and mellow. About my yard I have a 6 foot fully fenced in backyard. I remodeled it a couple of years ago to be fully 'dog proof'. I added bricks under the wood fence to stop a digging dog from escaping, just in case. There is a 10 foot shaded dog run with a doggy cot that the dogs have access to if they would like to 'veg out' on that but there are also multiple dog cots and other spots to lay around in the yard as well. They have a doggy door and access to the house at all times as well as water in case they get too hot and want to come inside and lay on the gazillion dog beds that are available inside as well. My experience administering medication I've administered medications as well as diabetic insulin shots.
