Snuggles, Snoots N’ Snacks

Pet care experience

***Please read full bio!!*** I have forever been a dog lover and having grown up with the goal of becoming a vet someday, I did everything to get involved with humane societies, rescues and books to learn what I needed to about proper dog care and management. Over the course of 5 years I have fostered about 15 dogs (from 6 weeks-6 months), and worked directly with numerous organizations as representatives of their programs. I recently got a dog of my own and it has been a very rewarding and educating experience where I have been able to apply my responsible and dedicated nature to ensuring the best life for her. I believe I will be able to provide your dog the similar love, care, adventure and fun I know a pup requires, while keeping you as the owner involved! Its important to feel apart of your dogs life even when you can’t be with them. I make it a goal to send videos, pictures and updates of your dogs health, well-being and happiness. I am experienced in puppy training/obedience and potty training as well.

Cawood was awesome! We did a meet and greet as well as a dog walk before the sitting to make sure everyone was comfortable. That really made me feel better about leaving Rye. She sent a ton of photos, had great communication, and left the house clean and tidy. Rye is already missing her and Henley!

Cawood is always so great with my sweet pup! She is quick to respond and tries to help anytime she is available. Highly recommend! :)

Cawood is an amazing Rover! She helped us manage a new-to-us dog while we were out of town and went above and beyond to maker the pup as comfortable as possible!

Cawood took such great care of my dog and home!! She sent great pictures and updates. My pup is a bit anxious but seems like he had a great time with Cawood and Henley.

***Please do not book with me if you are uncomfortable with me bringing my dog to house sit for you!! AND I am allergic to cats so no homes with cats please!!*** You can read about Henley in her bio or ask me any questions! :) Depending on your requested service, I am a huge advocate to routine and want to ensure I imitate your daily life for your dog the best I can! I make sure to take a last potty break an hour before bedtime. Additionally, I believe it’s very important for dogs to maintain an active schedule. Because of this, I take my own dog on two walks a day and an active period in the afternoon-throwing a ball or frisbee in the local park (5 minutes from me)! I am very regimented in feeding time and can adjust to any preference for your pet.

Information Cawood H. would like to know about your pet

Since I do have a dog of my own, she tends to be shy at first but has high energy when it comes to playing. She loves getting to know other dogs. Before I decide to care for your dog I feel most comfortable knowing how it acts around other dogs, is it comfortable meeting other dogs or going out to public places? How is it’s walking behavior? Is is territorial of food (which is normal and understandable!) I also love to know what games it likes and what bedtime/feeding routine you normally follow so I can mirror that!

A typical day

Since your pup will be accommodated by my dog, we like to make sure we get out at least three times a day! I will take a nice 30 minute walk in the morning, allowing all the sniffs followed by breakfast and then a morning nap. In the afternoon I will go for either another walk or go to the local park to throw the frisbee or a ball to get some energy out. After the mid day play, we will rest and then feed an early dinner followed by either another walk, a hike, a run, or a trip to the dog park!! We love going to Sloan’s Lake!
