I moved to Wilton, NH this past fall after spending some time travelling and subsequently hunkering down in the city for a year (mistake realized as we are not city people). I travelled for a few years around the country with my partner and we had many pet/house-sitting opportunities along the way where we met fabulous dogs and people through Rover and other platforms. Now, I'm looking forward to using Rover to provide another option for pet-care services in this area. I've been taking care of and loving dogs my whole life. As a child, I used to happily help out my neighbors and family members by walking, feeding, and sitting everyone's dogs so I could prove my responsibilty to my parents and grow up with a dog friend of my own! I spent a very happy 12 years with my boy, and after his passing I found joy in providing love and company to other people's pets and fostering dogs in need. I recently "foster failed", and now am a one-dog household. I'm experienced with everyone from small-to large-size dogs, and young, untrained puppies to our beloved senior citizens. I also used to foster dogs and puppies, and have the calm personality to help shy ones come out of their shell, give space to those that need it, and provide plenty of love and stimulation, as appropriate!
