Fun & patient friend for your pets

Pet care experience

I moved to Wilton, NH this past fall after spending some time travelling and subsequently hunkering down in the city for a year (mistake realized as we are not city people). I travelled for a few years around the country with my partner and we had many pet/house-sitting opportunities along the way where we met fabulous dogs and people through Rover and other platforms. Now, I'm looking forward to using Rover to provide another option for pet-care services in this area. I've been taking care of and loving dogs my whole life. As a child, I used to happily help out my neighbors and family members by walking, feeding, and sitting everyone's dogs so I could prove my responsibilty to my parents and grow up with a dog friend of my own! I spent a very happy 12 years with my boy, and after his passing I found joy in providing love and company to other people's pets and fostering dogs in need. I recently "foster failed", and now am a one-dog household. I'm experienced with everyone from small-to large-size dogs, and young, untrained puppies to our beloved senior citizens. I also used to foster dogs and puppies, and have the calm personality to help shy ones come out of their shell, give space to those that need it, and provide plenty of love and stimulation, as appropriate! Let's chat about your dog's specific needs/quirks/desires and see if we're a fit!

Carrie was an excellent sitter. She was quick to respond to the booking request and to set up a meet and greet. We have 3 dogs ranging from 13 years to almost 2 years, and they can be a handful, but they all took to her right away. She was very professional and friendly and great to work with. She took excellent care of our pups and we came home to 3 happy and safe dogs. She sent pictures and videos and updates throughout the stay which allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip knowing the pups were in good hands. She left the house in great shape and made sure we arrived home safely. We would highly recommend Catyie to anyone, and will definitely reach out for any future sitting needs.

Caytie is truly gifted with animals! Our non-stop play sheepadoodle is typically not a fan of people but immediately bonded with Caytie and had a wonderful five days of playing and hiking. We came home to a happy and healthy dog and house. We are grateful we discovered Caytie on Rover.com and would recommend her for dog-sitting and/or housesitting to anyone!

Catyie is an excellent dog sitter and human being. She watched our German Shorthair Pointer for two weeks while we went out of state. She drove from the east coast as part of a larger tour of the US, and kept us updated along the way so we knew she was coming. We asked her to come a day earlier than initially requested, to show her the ropes and introduce her to our dog Molly. She modified her plans to do this, and when we saw her interact with our dog, we were instantly put at ease. During the sit, Catyie updated us with pictures and texts about how it was going. Our neighbors told us that she spent alot of time with Molly, taking her on walks, and taking Molly along when she was out and about. When we got home, we had a happy dog, and the house was spotless. It's really invaluable to find someone you can trust your pet with, and Catyie is that person.

My dog (2ish year old/35 lb mix) can either be around to play or is fine to be seperated from yours and sleep the day away. My neighbor also has a dog (3ish year old/70? lb hound) that visits the property semi-regularly and is super friendly with dogs of friends and family we've had here. Let's chat about your needs and the expexted regiment. I'm happy to have a phone call, video call, and/or meet in person.

I will treat and spoil your dog(s) within the realm of your boundaries. We will explore new places together (as your comfot allows), or simply take our regular walk/play in the yard! Availability

I work from home 90% of the time, but my schedule does require some field work and an occasional (1-2X/month) office visit. Because of this I will occasionally be unavailable on certain days during the week, but I'm generally really flexible with my schedule. I'm pretty active, going on hikes and exploring new places, and I'd love to take your pup with me on some adventures (as I've done for others) once we build a bond of trust! But I'm also happy to hang at my home or yours with your pup(s) and/or take their regular walking path.
