Pet care experience
I have been lucky enough to grow up with cats and dogs of all sizes since the age of 10. 3 of my dogs at my family home are small-medium size and then we also have a Labrador. I regularly care for friends and family’s pets who have ranged from puppies to older dogs and I am very comfortable walking them on and off the lead, staying overnight with them and caring for them day to day whenever needed. I have been in Rover for a few months now and in that time I’ve cared for puppies, kittens, cats, small dogs, big dogs, you name it😂 I absolutely love having each and every one of them around and I look after them like they’re my own little fur baby. Even though your pets stay with me is like their own little holiday, I like things to stay as similar as possible to their everyday lives and routines so never be afraid to pack a whole suitcase of toys or tell me particular things they enjoy like being tucked in before bed haha.

I must admit I was a bit apprehensive about boarding Luna and Molly as this was their first time and I was worried about them being stressed, home sick or missing us and their family but I need not have been. Catrin had enquired before hand about all their little ways, their routine, any health problems, allergies etc which in itself is always a good sign. Catrin is very friendly and kind and my girls straight away picked up on this, It is obvious that Catrin is an experienced dog lover and Luna and Molly were exceptionally well cared for during their stay, I had regular updates and pics throughout and I could tell by their happy faces they were having a ball! I would highly recommend Catrin who in the future will be my first port of call when needing to board my girls again. Thank you Catrin!

I currently live in a flat but I live opposite Llandaff and Pontcanna fields, so your pet would have plenty of space to run around, get exercise and play. I don’t have any pets here myself at the moment, so there is no risk for dogs who struggle to be around other animals. I like for dogs to feel like my home is their home whilst they’re staying with me, so I have no issues letting them explore every room, sleep near to me, lie on the sofa etc, whatever makes them happy they can do!

A typical day
I’m always out and about walking so your pet will always be coming along with me and getting plenty of exercise. Pontcanna is a very dog friendly area and you’ll always be meeting new dogs in the park or out walking, so there are plenty of socialising opportunities. I love to play with all of the pets I have with me because no matter the age of the dog, playing is so important and I love seeing their young side and their personality come out.

Availability
I currently work from home Mon/Tues/Friday with a flexible work schedule that would allow me to care for your pet at short notice or care for them during the way if you are at work. My office also has an open pet policy on the days we are in, so if your pet loves attention, cuddles and non stop playing then they are more than welcome to visit the office with me. During my day working from home I am also walking in the park next door at least twice a day, so there would be plenty of opportunities for your pet to get lots of exercise and play time. My weekends are usually very chilled and relaxed but wherever I go, your fur baby is always welcome to come along with me! I am available most evenings after work and can be available at short notice if ever needed. The same applies on the weekend when I am free to care for your pet in the day or overnight.
