Pet care experience
I have always been drawn to loving on and caring for animals, there has Always been a dog or cat in my home life and there is not much more rewarding then making a new fur-ever friend. Every animal's needs or wants are different and I enjoy getting to know their personalities and meeting them at their level. I've cared for special needs animals, both large and small breed dogs, strays to pedigrees. I am the kind of person who keeps a leash in the car and will stop traffic to help an escapee find it's way back home. Cats are totally my thing as well from play, to nail trims and baths . There's nothing more rewarding than earning the trust of an animal! I strive to meet everyone with kindness, patience, and respect.

Catie took great care of our cat and dog while we were out of town for a weekend and provided frequent updates. She not only kept them fed but took our pup for long walks and gave them both a good brush! Catie is a fantastic pet sitter and I am so glad we found her. She obviously has a great love for the animals she looks after and I would highly recommend her to others.
Catie takes care of a pug (14) and 2 cats. She's very proactive when it comes to their needs and seems to speak their language.
Miss Catie stayed at my house for 3 days. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. One dog is blind and nearly deaf. She took my babies on a walk around the neighborhood and my Pug, (who is blind) decided he didn't want to walk anymore. Now mind you, my Pug weighs about 37 pounds. She carried him all the way home and it is an uphill walk about 3-4 blocks from where he decided to rest. She was extremely caring and patient with all my babies. They also take medications several times a day and Catie was prompt at dosing at the correct time. She also can trim their nails! Even the cats! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire Catie again. A typical day
Let me know what they like and we can start there! Walks around the neighborhood or nature are my favorite or even just some play and training time. I prefer to use a harness , rewards and positive reinforcement and distraction and focus techniques. Every animal I work with I try and have a one on one connection with and am adaptable to their needs. I work as an assistant to an executive currently and help with animal care needs of their array of pets and farm animals, including trips to vet, transport to physical therapy, continuing water therapy practices at home, play, some walks, nail care, minor grooming, and much more.
