I’ve taken out my friends’ dogs and housesat for them since my teenage years! I also have previously fostered kittens and dogs for small periods of time.

Cathy was incredible. She had our back during a string of days when we had intense social activity due to friends visiting us from abroad at the exact week when our dog needed to be cared for a little more closely. The whole experience was absolute seamless – she would arrive to dog sit him every evening at the time we asked her to, and would patiently wait for us to arrive from our nights out. She hit it off immediately with our dog and took great care of him. Highly recommended!
Cathy was AMAZING! She was great with Wallace and he didn't want her to leave when we got home lol. Definitely recommend!!!
Cathy is great! She walked my dog Maple for a week and Maple was always super excited to see her.
Cathy was an excellent house / pet sitter. We needed someone we could trust to come stay at our apartment for a day with our dog, Piper, and Cathy did a great job showing Piper love and following the instructions we left her. We'll use Cathy again without hesitation and look forward to her hanging out with Piper again in the future!

I have a gated front door and a fenced-in back alley so your pet cannot escape even if the front or back door was left open accidentally. I can easily crate your pet when necessary and keep them separate from our house cat.

Please let me know if your dog has any behaviors or special needs that I need to be aware of! There is a very short flight of stairs into my house, but I’m able to carry mobility-limited pups up the steps if they’re <50 pounds.
A typical day
I live right by Duboce Park, so I’d love taking your pet there or for extended walks around Haight/Hayes/Duboce. Your pet will be under close supervision in my room, perfect for anxious pandemic puppies.

Availability
I’m WFH with very few meetings so I’m available for day-sitting, walks, and potty breaks whenever! My evening schedule varies week-by-week but I generally am available for overnight housesitting most weeknights and some weekends.
