I have a dog and a cat that I love to spoil, and I will love and care for your pet like I would my own! I will provide updates during the visit/walk and fill out a Rover card at the end of each visit/walk!

I will reinforce whatever behaviors you are training or have trained your dog on, using positive reinforcement. You can let me know what they are and provide me treats to give. I don’t give my own treats without verifying if it’s ok with you first, due to potential allergies and food sensitivities. I don’t encourage dogs to jump on me or other people. I make sure there is always fresh access to water, following feeding instructions, adequate potty breaks and clean litter, general safety, etc. I will give your pet love and attention (unless they prefer their space)! I never provide food or treats to your pet unless agreed upon by you.

You can never provide too much info :)
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood, to parks, along trails, reinforcement of behavior training (e.g. no demand barking, no jumping, etc.). Playing games like tug and fetch, or playing with cat toys. I do not take dogs to public dog parks due to the risks.

My main goal is to provide attentive care and frequent updates/photos to you! As a nurse, I’m off work 4 days a week so I have plenty of time to help you care for your pets! I have helped my friends and family with watching and walking their animals, from a small shih tzu to a pitbull, to a kitty. I have used Rover for years to find sitters for my dog while I’m at work and vacation. I am happy to offer help to others who also need someone to trust with their pets while they’re away! I am very careful with my pets’ health and safety and will do the same with your pup/kitty. Please let me know of any specific behaviors your pet has such as eating things he/she shouldn’t, trying to escape, leash reactivity, pulling on leash, resource guarding, etc. For your cat, what to expect when I visit (shy and will stay hidden, shy but will come out with coaxing/play/treats), common hiding spots, location of litter box and food/water, where to dispose of litter waste, etc.
