Your baby with a caring family

Pet care experience

Hi! Thanks for reading! Pets have been part of my life since I was a child, and I appreciate how precious they all are to their families. Beyond having my own pets, through the years I've hosted many, many different dogs, and cats, and have appreciated getting to know and learn how to be a good host from so many guests. I really enjoy being a sitter. Both my husband and I enjoy caring for our guests and there is usually at least one adult in the house, usually two. We give guests lots of attention and do our best to make sure they have fun during their stay. We have three daughters who add another helping of attention. Our house has plenty of space and we have a good sized yard with lots of interesting things for a pup to enjoy. We live in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic, parks, and walking trails.

This was Ronnie and Rosie’s first time staying with Cathy and they were treated like royalty!! She loved on them like they were her own dogs. She welcomed them into her home which is set up with your dogs comfort in mind providing a home away from home. She gave me ideas as to what to bring to help them settle in with her which was appreciated and showed her experience. My dogs were well cared for, looked after and were extremely happy staying with Cathy and her family, we will certainly be repeat clients in the future. Thank you SO much Cathy - Ronnie and Rosie miss you!

Beau is a repeat boarder with Cathy and her family - he loves her (as do we)! She is loving, attentive, and knowledgeable. She clearly enjoys caring for our Beau, and is great with sending updates/photos/videos. Her home is clean, and is set up nicely for her furry boarders inside and outside. Beau has loved each stay, and we are so lucky to have Cathy as his care-giver while we’re away! Thank you Cathy!!

Cathy is the best cat sitter! She took every measure to ensure that our Mr. Buff was relaxed and well acclimated. He had his pick of water fountains and play structures. He only stayed 1 night but he warmed up to his host immediately. He ate and drank as normal and even made a friend with Cathy’s youngest daughter. We now can rest assured that if Mr. Buff ever needs a place to stay, we know where to go.

Cathy and her family are so thoughtful and take such great care of my little Pomeranian Maltese mix, Daisy! Their home is truly Daisy’s second home. I know that Daisy is happy and I never have to worry.

Information Cathy E. would like to know about your pet

Before sitting a pet for the first time we usually recommend a meet and greet to make sure we understand your baby’s needs and you feel comfortable with us and can ask any questions you want. We’ll talk about any particular care requirements, eating habits, sleeping preferences, any medical needs, your furbaby’s personality, and what to bring.

A typical day

Whether inside or outside your dog or cat will get personal care, lap time, tummy rubs and neck scratches, play time, and other heart-felt displays of affection. Out in our yard dogs find plenty to explore and do. Depending on the dog and weather, walks or other outings are part of the program.

Availability

Each pooch or kitty is an individual with their own personality, preferences, and needs to accomodate. We can help with any age, puppies and kittens, older dogs and cats, and those with special dietary, physical or emotional needs. For both dogs and cats I am comfortable giving injections and medications, and we with feeding tubes. Some pets bring separation anxiety when away from home and I know how to accomodate so they feel comfortable, and over repeated stays that lessens or even fades away entirely. We have accepted many urgent same-day requests, and have made emergency pickups from a hospital room and a big-box kennel store.
