I am located in the downtown area of Moab. My home is located just off the bike path, which follows a creek and has a dog park within a 5 minute walk. My home is in a new subdivision with a fenced in yard providing lots of grass and lots of shade. I have 2 boys (1 and 6) and a family dog Dakota (Lab) who is 8. I have over 30 years of dog ownership. We take our dog on many adventures like hiking, backpacking, camping and swimming. Dakota is part of the "family" and is treated as such. We promise to treat your furry "kids" just as we would our own. This is our home and your "kids" are our special guests. Otherwise, Dakota just hangs out with us enjoying lots of love, cuddles and games of fetch! We have started this service because our 6 year old, Logan, wants to get another pet. We would like to open our home to temporary pets instead! We would love to watch any small cage animals like hamsters and reptiles as well as dogs. Our big concern is,of course, that any dog we watch needs to be good with our kids and dog. We cannot accept any "grumpy" guest dogs. (Don't worry we realize all animals are unpredictable to some degree and are teaching this to our children) If you are visiting Moab, especially during the hot summer months, please let us give your pet a cool place to hang out and have fun while you are off on your adventures!
