Pet care experience
I love all dogs - big or small, young and old. After losing my dog to cancer, I offered to take care of a stranger’s 14 year old dog over Christmas so she could go to England to visit family. Best experience I had. After that, I began fostering dogs from rescues and loved doing that. I have a 10 year old labradoodle who was a rescue. He is a big love bug and gets along with all dogs. He loves having other fur friends stay with us. I have taken care of my friends’ dogs for week long vacations and/or weekends. My adult children (25 and 21) live with me at home. My 21 year old daughter has an intellectual disability and she loves taking care of animals. It is good experience for her.

Cathy took great care of our dog while we were away. We felt very comfortable leaving Shadow with Cathy after meeting her, her daughter and her dog ahead of time to ensure a good fit. We knew we were leaving our baby in very good hands. We really appreciated receiving photos while we were away, too! Would highly recommend Cathy and her fam!
Cathy is fantastic. She kept me informed of Murphy’s status and I never felt worried whatsoever. Cathy sent photos of Murphy on walks and he was literally smiling, tongue flapping around. Pure Joy! I highly recommend Cathy!!!
This was the first time I had used a person I didn’t know to watch Gibson and Vaughan. At the meet and greet I knew they would be in good hands with Carhy. My boys loved their time with her. She took them to the park and made them feel at home. They came home tired and happy. I will definitely have Cathy watch the boys again in the future.

I am in a single home with a fenced back yard. I have no problem allowing dogs on couches and beds. I am close to an off leash dog park and enjoy taking my dogs there to let off energy.

Very important information to know is if a dog has any medical issues I should be aware of is if your dog likes to chew or swallow items such as socks, paper etc.
A typical day
I love taking my dog to off leash parks daily to run and socialize with other dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard where they can play or lie and enjoy themselves. In the summer the kiddie pool is set up for those who enjoy frolicking in the water.

I am current working from home so I am available all week including weekends. My son (25 years old) also works from home so pets get a lot of attention when they stay with us.
