Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in Idaho where stray dogs and cats were dropped off all the time. We raised them, found them homes, kept a few, and most importantly made them feel loved!! As an adult, my rescue dogs have been my comfort through divorce and cancer. They are this woman’s best friend!!

Cathy has cared for our dog on several occasions. She has been very mindful of his habits, needs and has done a marvelous job for us. She loves animals and has always had a pet of her own. I would highly recommend her for the care of any pet.

My house is not fenced in, but I have several tie downs, and length of leashes for the dogs to run around a lot. I have a 5-year-old chihuahua-terrier mix female rescue dog, who loves to play, but the neighbors with her playmates moved. My house is very dog friendly, as are my family members.

As long as I know in advance of needs beyond the norm, I can evaluate and make accommodations. If more advanced medical knowledge is required, I would hesitate, unless I had time to research.
A typical day
Morning walks, treat. Park nearby for catch, if desired! There is always music in my home and activity. Afternoon and evening walks are necessary, as well.

I am currently unemployed looking for full time employment. Since my divorce, I have lived with my awesome parents, who will be helping out! That makes my schedule very flexible at the moment.
