Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Catherine and I've spent over a decade of caring for my own pets and sitting neighbors and friends pets. As an animal lover, there is nothing in the realm of pet care that I'm uncomfortable with so I'll list some of the unique pet care experiences I have had. I've cared for senior dogs with lots of medical needs so I am well versed in extensive care regimens. I also have experience in domesticating previously feral cats. These specific experiences exemplify the general thoughtfulness and patience I put into any pet and I look forward to applying my skills to caring for other people's furry companions!

I am diligent about following any safety instructions or accounting for any other feedback owners provide me about their pets. Since I am a pet owner myself, when I go into other people's homes, I am very wary about entrances/exits and things on surfaces. More specifically, I am mindful about how I enter and exit owner's homes because I know some pets have a tendency to try to get outside. Additionally, it has become habitual for me to keep things that may be choking hazards or toxic out of reach of animals.

When it comes to the pets I sit, I like to know in advance if they are less comfortable with new people. I really take this into account and make sure I'm mindful about how I approach your pet and get to know them.
A typical day
In addition to giving your pets a lot of love and affection, I like to spend as much time as possible playing with the pets I sit and getting them the exercise they need. Specifically, when I go for walks, I've liked to stroll around the MGH main campus because it's more isolate from the main roads.

I also work a full time job so I am typically only available before and after regular business hours during the work days. On weekends, I have more flexibility with my scheduling!
