Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was nine years old and have worked as a veterinary technician, dog care specialist at a boarding company, and now am interning with a dog trainer in Huntsville. Right now I have two dogs and a cat of my own, a St. Bernard named Murphy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Penny, and a tabby cat named Ozzie. They are my pride and joy and I could not do one day without them. I have also been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since before I could drive and people have always trusted me with their fur babies because I love them as my own!

You won’t find a better person to take care of your fur babies than Catherine!!! Not only is she dog savvy, but she is extremely knowledgeable about many types of dogs, their needs and temperaments. She is very responsible and you can be assured if she commits to something she will show up and put in 100%! We have six dogs of different sizes and ages and she knows each one’s needs and we know if she is caring for them we don’t have to worry. She gets an A++++ rating from us…and we are extremely picky about who we trust with our babies!!

I have two dogs and a cat in my apartment who all get along with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have an extra room in my apartment that could be used for your pet if they needed time in their crate away from my pets as a cool down. Your pet will have full access to my house as well as my bed! Your pet will be walked, if desired, and can be taken to my on-site dog park for running and playing. My apartment also connects to the Hays Nature Preserve if your dog likes hiking and longer walks.

A typical day
My apartment complex connects to Hays nature preserve, so if your dog loves to go on walks then that is where I typically go! However, I also believe in the power of mental stimulation including dog puzzles, Kong toys, and a variety of other things that will mentally challenge your dog and leave them tired and happy. A tired dog is a good dog!

Availability
I am currently working from Monday- Thursdays but have availability on Friday-Sunday to take care of your dog! I can also drop in before or after work if that is something that you are interested in! I come home on my lunch break and let my pets out and will let yours out as well if they are staying at my apartment. If you have questions about how my schedule will work with your dog, please reach out! I will go above and beyond to make your dog happy.
