Hi, my name is Cat and I am a wildlife biologist who works with animals that is looking for some part time work looking after your pets! I grew up with a variety of animals in my home including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, ect. My parents were big fans of having lots of animals where I grew up in Georgia. When I was younger, I wanted to be a vet, but as I grew up I started to love wild animals which led me to my career in wildlife biology and animal photography. I have pretty much always had my own cats and dogs until recently since I moved out here to Montana. I really miss having pets in my home, so I would love to give some time and love to yours in the meantime! I will probably send you lots of pictures of your pet having fun if you decide to book with me.

Cat was communicative and took excellent care of our dogs and chickens.
Cat was very quick to respond during our vacation and she provided daily text updates with photos. She came to our home twice before our trip to be introduced to our two dogs and cats and also to get an overview of our house and the animals' routines. Our elderly dog requires a number of oral medications on a daily basis and Cat was able to administer the pills with no trouble. We left our home in a very clean condition and looked the same when we returned as she did all of her own dishes and kept the house tidy. Cat also, per our request, kept our outside lawn clear of dog waste on a daily basis while also cleaning the cat boxes twice daily. Our four pets seem very well cared for, as did our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Catherine to anyone who needs a responsible person to look after their loved ones.
Wonderful stay for our dogs, and would gladly hire again! Great communication and we especially appreciated the extra flexibility when an emergency came up for us and we had to swiftly change our pick up time. It was so good to know our dogs were in great hands while we had to do a work trip. Thank you, Catherine!
Catherine cared for our 16 year old dog while we were away for 2 weeks. Our dog is elderly and needs a lot of attention and Catherine really did a wonderful job with her. She also sent photos which was really nice. We will use her again.

I have a secure house, my yard is not fenced but I am diligent on leashing. I would prefer leash trained dogs boarding for that reason, but if they're older/slower and good on recall I'm open to talking about it. I'm happy to abide by specific preferences of care in your own home. I would prefer a dog that is crate trained (or they should be low energy/non destructive) in my house for safety reasons, but open to your rules at your place!

I will likely ask about their personality, their schedule, and if they're house trained. Let me know if your pet has special needs ahead of time and I will see what I can accommodate. I have experience with elderly and some special needs pets.

I'm happy to hang out with your pet dependant on their needs. I could come to feed and care for an elderly pet or a cat in a low key setting, or take your pup on a run around the neighborhood!

Availability
This is my current work schedule: Winter (Nov-Mar): Pretty open and flexible! Mostly I work from home. I have a lot of time to care for your pet. Summer (April-October): I work full time during the day, often remote field work, but it can vary, so talk to me about what would work. I'll try to set my calendar availability when I can know in advance. Currently I have a pretty flexible schedule that would allow me to spend as much time as you need with your pet. I'm happy to just give them a short walk, or I could come by and play with them for a longer period of time, I could do multiple house visits or an overnight stay, or I could have them stay in my house if I will be home that night.
