I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, geese, rabbits etc... and began housesitting about 4 years ago. Since then I’ve taken on more clients through word of mouth. Also walked dogs full time for Bluedpg SF, a dog walking company in San Francisco. I walked tiny tiny dogs to livery large dogs. I just love dogs and recognize each one has their own personality and likes and dislikes. I try to pick up on those things unique to that dog to ensure they have a good time and are happy. When i house sit, it’s all about the dog, we have fun while maintaining and respecting your rules. Dogs need to move so I make sure we go on fun walks and hikes as often as possible! Through walking multiple dogs, I gained experience with different harnesses and different personalities. I’ve walked dogs that are very aggressive, learned how to make their walks enjoyable and happy, while being conscious and taking necessary steps to avoid potential dog fights. I also protected the dogs I’ve walked from other aggressive dogs, making their safety my priority. Aside from Dog walking and sitting, I also teach yoga at a local studio, lead small hiking retreats and work at a homeless center in Oakland.
