Pet care experience
Being surrounded by animals and nature, is something I have happily continued to do my whole life. My name is Catherine and animals are my passion. I've had pets (mostly dogs) my entire life and have had the amazing opportunity to rescue several (dogs and cats, even birds). I am also currently an active volunteer at ASPCA where I've been trained on how to socialize with the animals, walk them, provide basic obedience training, care for sick, injured or animals in need of extra attention, how to be a good foster parent, and have also served at the animal hospital. My main goal is to make sure your pet enjoys its time in a safe and comfortable environment whether is in the house or outdoors. Taking care of any animal, specially dogs is the most beautiful and gratifying experience I could ever live and relive. If your dog is happy, we all are :)

Catherine has a genuine love for all animals including dogs. She treats my dogs as if they were her own. She is very attentive and knowledgeable from what I see when it comes to each dogs individual personality. She has equipped herself with proper training to understand dogs in all environments as some may become unpredictable. Catherine is well qualified to be a dog sitter. I don't think I've ever met someone who's more passionate & loving about animals! She shares a special connection with them, guess they can sense your kindness & love for them. I assure that your pet would be in the best care, I trust her with my cat when I'm away.
I can tell you this: Catherine loves dogs more than people. She is the type of person who respects, loves and cares for all animals understanding that they are creatures from God and that, most of the times, they need humans to survive. She gets back from them what she gives. For her, they are not just pets, they are living beings with a need to be loved, respected, cared for, and listened to just like any other human.

I have a very flexible schedule/agenda, so I can adapt to the dogs needs very easy. Responsible if the dog has a special diet and/or walk regimen. I make sure I keep the owner posted through out my time with the dog for their peace of mind :) *A percentage of what I make pet sitting is donated to Patitas Mocanas, an organization that I started in Dominican Republic to rescue and care for homeless animals.
