Pet care experience
My favourite way to enjoy life, is to share it with a dog (or dogs)! I have cared for many dogs for friends and neighbours over the years and continue to do so more frequently now that I'm retired. I have previously cared for a senior pup (mine) so I can relate to the anxiety that a pet owner experiences when needing to leave them with someone new. rest assured your pet will be loved and doted upon in my care. If your dog requires several walks a day that is not an issue as I am quite active and love to be outdoors.

Catherine is amazing!!! We cannot say enough positive things about her. I wish I could give her 10+ stars. She took exceptional care of our dog, who Catherine found out was sick during her stay. She took her to vet appointments, did all prescribed care and followed up with them to make sure our sweet girl was as comfortable as possible. Talk about going above and beyond! She also took our dog on many long walks and hikes, and gave plenty of cuddles. I’d trust Catherine with any dog. She is the best.
I have known Catherine for over 30 years. Catherine is one of my closest friends. She has an unparalleled love for animals. My dog is just as welcome as I am at her “Auntie’s” house. Often, I will find the two of them snuggling and playing quite happily without me. There are four words that I will use to summarize Catherine: loyal, reliable, loving, and trustworthy. These characteristics are the hallmarks of this fantastic person who I am very lucky to have as my friend.
I am so lucky to have Catherine available to care for my dog. I can trust her to treat “Betty” like a valued member of the family and to care and exercise her as I would myself.
Catherine has looked after our dog Max over the last 2 years. Catherine has such a love for dogs and it shows in the care that she gives. I know my dog Max is well looked after when he stays with her. She follows good instruction when it comes to food and expected behavior. I trust her with my Home and know that she will treat it as her own. Knowing that Max is loved and cared for while I’m away makes for a great vacation! I totally recommend her for Rover. Glenda S

I am in a very large condo with a 500sq ft deck. Your dog would have access to the deck and the outdoor trails and designated fenced dog park on my property when out with me. There are no children in the home and I have a free schedule. your Pet would never bet alone more than 2 hrs at a time.

No preference for breeds but prefer dogs who are properly socialized. I have a piddle area set up with artificial grass for pets who require frequent potty breaks.
A typical day
My car is dog friendly so travelling to local parks and beaches for swims is easily done. Hiking in area around my home or shorter strolls in my neighbourhood and fenced dog play area easy to walk to.

I retired 2 years ago and I am very active. I take part in outdoor activities everyday, no matter the weather. Having a dog to share my outdoor experiences makes it so much more rewarding and fun.
