Pet care experience
I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I own and operate a farm and have extensive knowledge in small ruminates, large hogs, poultry, fowl, horses, and cattle. Farm chores are a breeze for me. I am a stay at home mother of school aged children and have plenty of time to devote to your pets or farm as long as I can have my youngest with me, but safely out of harms way. Her favorites are our cows and pigs. I will follow biosecurity measures for both my property and yours. Boots will be cleaned and sani-sprayed, and clothing will be free of exposure prior to entering your farm or home.

Catherine was absolutely amazing with my boy. She followed all care instructions and was very patient with my young rambunctious pup. She even went the extra mile in playing with him to get some of that puppy energy out. She took note of the puppy mess in his bed and offered to throw the bed in the wash and replace it with something else before putting him back in the crate. This was my first time using Rover and thanks to my experience with Catherine, I would certainly use it again!
Catherine has farm sat for me on multiple occasions. She is my preferred person to have watch my animals. Catherine followed all of my biosecurity requirements for poultry and was able to safely care my non people friendly livestock guardian dogs. If anything went amiss with an animal, she took notice immediately and contacted me and began treatment if necessary (goat kids especially). I have poultry, hogs, horses, rabbits, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, reptiles and fish and she cared for each like they were her own.

I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience aggression, but would not like to encounter this during my visits. Giant breeds are my favorite. Our personal working dogs are trained in obedience and their manners are always in work. Our cats just do cat things. If they want attention, cats will let you know.

Availability
I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings. I spend most of my day hanging out with my well-behaved toddler. She has a dear love for all animals, as well, and will happily backpack during walks, play, and basic obedience training as we do with out own giant breeds.
