Hi I’m Catherine, I am a career Early Childhood Development Educator. My position as a Lead Teacher in a high profile synagogue in Northwest D.C. gives me daily gratification. I have availability until August 20th due to a training reprieve. I also have my Bachelors in English from Michigan State University. My parents had a cat and 2 large dogs when I was a child, and as an adult I've had my pug Bubba! He is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is still moving and shaking at 13, just a little bit slower. Over the years I have house sat for many relatives, friends, and clients. I am experienced from pups to seniors. I am very familiar with administering medication, feeding and walking schedules, leashes and harnesses. But most of all, I love to pet, cuddle, and play! I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Catherine is without a doubt my first choice when I am in need of a sitter! Not only is she incredibly professional and responsible, but her love for helping to care for others' dogs clearly shines through as she treats each dog as if it were her own. Over the summer, Catherine stayed at my house to watch my dog and cat while I was away on vacation. She was very flexible with their needs and quick to respond when I called/texted her with any questions/comments. She was so patient and kind. I had a wonderful experience working with Catherine and was fully confident in knowing that they were in good hands. I definitely plan to work with her again!
Catherine is an amazingly empathetic and intuitive person who is a natural at her job as a preschool educator. She has experience owning and watching animals, including my dwarf rabbit who can definitely run people ragged. The way Catherine lights up around any animal fills me with joy but what really gets my heart strings is how animals react to her. I wouldn’t trust anyone other than her to care for my fur baby when I’m away, if only for her caring nature and amazing skill at handling any situation with grace.
