Hi! My name is Catherine and I'm new to Rover but not new to pet care. All through high school and college, my friends, family and neighbors would utilize me when they were busy or out of town to take care of their dogs, as well as other animals (cats, turtles, etc). Now that I'm on my own, with my dog back home in FL, I miss spending quality time with animals. I don't currently feel like I'm in a place where I can commit to getting my own dog right now. However in the meantime I still love to exercise the responsibility of having one, without committing to being a dog mommy long term. I can't wait to spend some time with your dog!

I have known Catherine for more than 13 years and she has always been an animal person. Catherine is genuinely a good person, who loves and takes care of the people and animals around her. She adores her own dog, who was a rescue. Her dog Peggy was skittish and anxious when her family first adopted her. In no time at all, Peggy blossomed from the nurturing love of Catherine's family. Peggy is well-behaved, goofy and happy, and is a testimony to how Catherine cares for dogs. Catherine is responsible and her bright and humorous personality makes her an incredible friend. I would trust Catherine to take care of anything for me, and that includes a dog.
