Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Catherine and I was a loving “parent” of a rescue dog for 12 years until she passed away. Along the way there have been rabbits, hamsters and fish within my home as well, in addition to ongoing opportunities to help neighbors and friends with the care of their pets while they are away. My dog Chloe was like one of my own children and provided so much joy while she was here. Being able to provide overnight care to other loving dogs, in my home, through Rover is something I look forward to now that Chloe has passed on. What I will provide is a warm loving environment and attention to your special dog so that he or she feels safe and loved while you are away. Fun walks with lots of praise and hugs along with gentle attentive play will be provided in a responsible, joyful way so that we both have a positive experience. I take only one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. It’s been my practice with neighbors and friends to share photos and updates of their pets stay so they feel connected and assured all is well.

Catherine takes absolutely wonderful care of our dog Zorro! She is a very good communicator, and clearly very responsible. We so appreciate that we can leave town without having any worries about our pup being in good hands. Catherine also communicates with us very well before and during Zorro's stays with her!

I prefer smaller dogs who are comfortable with people, have a positive demeanor and are potty trained. All immunizations must be up to date along with flea/tick protection.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy fun walks through town and at the park. Playing a little chase perhaps in the house and then cuddling on my lap to quiet down. Lots of hugs and praise with a regular attentive care.

I am a self employed artist and have flexibility to be available for tending to your pets needs. I tend work from about 10 am until 5pm from home, which makes it possible for me to maintain regular breaks for a walk or a little play time with your pet.
