Pet care experience
I have had family cats and dogs throughout my lifespan and my responsibilities regarding pet care expanded as I grew older. I consistently dog/cat sit for three family friends for six years at various levels of care (stopping by throughout the day to staying in their home 3-7 days) along with varying sized breeds. I have also assisted my dogs groomer with bathing, drying, and brushing very large breed dogs. My level of activity can meet any breed of dog, I walk 3-5 miles daily. I have been a nurse for over four years so I am proficient with administering medications in order to meet the needs of your dog to maintain their health.

Catherine is one of if not the biggest animal lovers I have met. She truly cares about any animal whether it's missing a leg, eye, or tail, she does not discriminate. Whenever you let her care for your pets, just know you will not be disappointed with the amount of love and care she will give them.
Catherine loves animals and deeply cares about their well being. She would open up a senior pet rescue if she could (like, no really she always talks about it). Anyone’s pet would be in the best hands with Catherine. You won’t be sorry hiring her for your pet!

If your pet will not be in a fenced area, they will be on their leash and I will avoid heavily trafficked areas while on walks. I will follow your instructions that are provided to me as you know your pet best. I live in an apartment where I cannot have dogs, I will treat your home with respect and love your pets like they are my own.

Availability
My schedule as a geriatric psych nurse is part time, I do pick up over time. I would be able to stay in your home full time with enough notice. If I do work while caring for your pet, I have a 60 minute break so I would be able to leave and check in so they will not be alone for 8 hours straight. Other than work my schedule is very flexible and I will do my best to meet you and your pets needs.
