I have been a dog owner since I was 7 years old. I personally trained every pet in my parents household including the foster dogs I convinced them to take in during middle and high school. I have experience loving small to extra large dogs. I grew up with two Bichon Frises (Beef and Moochie) and a Pomapoo (Marty.) Moochie is 17 years old and is diabetic. I have experience giving her insulin shots twice a day, so I am completely comfortable with medications. Marty was a kennel dog before we adopted him and sometimes has trouble with house training. I have no problem cleaning up accidents or belly bands/diapers. He wears one every time we leave the house! I like to say my dogs are some of the most high maintenance dogs in the world, so I can take most anything you throw at me. I also watch my sister's Bernese Mountain Dog Tobias regularly and did all of his obedience training. The breed is normally medium difficulty to train, but he is a particularly defiant dog. We worked very hard, but he is now very well behaved (although still extremely high energy) and is crazy about me since we spend so much time together. After helping him to grow up to be a well behaved gentleman I feel very prepared to take care of other large/strong dogs with minimal obedience training. I also just love big dogs in general! I have house/pet-sat countless times from chickens to police dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds. I am living in an apartment and starting my career and just want to play with your dogs so I don't adopt one of my own before I am ready/before I can afford it!
