Pet care experience
My family has always had pets whether it be dogs, bunnies, birds, fish, or other small pets. I also regularly babysit/house sit a friend’s dog when they vacation. It ranges from 3 days to 1+ weeks depending on where they travel to. I currently have a free roam bunny named Bun Bun. She is my baby. My family also has a Shiba Inu that I grew up with for a while.

Catherine's love of animals is so evident in the way she cares for her dog and bunny. She cares for them and often spoils them with treats and toys like a mother would her child. I trust her to care for my pet and care for them like I would! She's one of the most responsible and capable people I know.

Respect is the biggest thing for me. I treat client’s pets as their babies and family members, just as I would expect my fur baby to be treated. Each fur baby has a different temperament, comfort zone, as well as routine. While I’m not professionally trained, my goal is to make sure they feel comfortable and safe when I’m with them. I believe pet sitting or even pet walking is the same as baby sitting and taking a child to the park. Safety precautions are needed and constant supervision. I always make sure anything that is being fed or locations I take your baby has been pre-approved by you!

A typical day
If I am house sitting, I would work remotely on days that I can and bring your baby into work on days I can’t. I will make sure to confirm in advance. I enjoy spoiling my friend’s dog, so I take her on Starbucks runs, lazy dog runs, and even in n out runs. I also occasionally take her to pet smart for a toy. I would take them to a park, around the neighborhood if that’s the preferred routine.

I currently do work full time, but Mondays are my days off, so can walk your fur babies then. I am also usually free in the mornings before 11am on Fridays.
