Your precious pet will be loved and cared for by me as I appreciate how special our pets are to us. I have been around dogs and other pets (inc. cats) for most of my life and love their companionship. I am currently relocating to the UK (living with my sister) after residing in New Zealand for 20+ years (working as a teacher and running a dog home boarding service in the school holidays). Hence I am in the lucky position to be able to offer my services as a dog sitter in your home, dog walking and/or home pet visits. Running a dog homestay meant I was able to care for many different breeds, ages and sizes of dogs. I loved all the doggy cuddles and having the opportunity to cater for their needs. Taking a dog for a walk, you could say, is one of my 'happy places.' I have included in my photos some of the reviews I received from many of my happy dog owners. The last dog I owned was a Cavoodle and he developed epilepsy at 5 years of age. I had to manage his condition for 6 years before he passed away. I am therefore used to administering medicine and adhering to a strict medicine regime (my dog had to have his meds at specific times throughout the day), and I have experience caring for dogs with specific needs. I am qualified in dog psychology and training and used to take part in, and on several occasions ran, a dog agility class. I am currently studying to gain an Ofqual recognized qualification in canine welfare. I offer a high standard of care and am happy to ensure that your pet remains calm and happy while I am there, also ensuring that your home is looked after and well maintained. I am available to meet before hand if required.
