Pet care experience
First of all, dogs are my absolute passion and believe they are not just pets, but truly are family! I have two (quirky) rescue dogs of my own, Joey and Coco. Our family has fostered dogs for a local rescue, so I am comfortable with dogs that may have unique quirks. I am passionate about ensuring pets are cared for in the way THEY need. If that's a nice long walk, great! If that's a game of intense fetch, awesome! Maybe it's just cuddles on the couch...also great! I would love to be able to spend time with your furry friend when you are not able, because again, they are family and deserve top notch care. I hope to meet you and your furry fam soon!

Where do I begin!! Cat just adopted her first dog & I would have never have guessed. She acts like a veteran to it. So attentive & loving. She cares for her puppy just like a human. I have her watch my dog and I love that she sends me updates & gives him the exercise he needs. She is very energetic so it’s not a problem for her to get out and go on a walk! (Or two, or three) Highly recommend if you want a energy filled, and amazing communicator dog sitter / walker !

We live in Elida after living in Cincinnati for 10 years! I am not currently accepting dogs to stay at our home due to anxiety in my own pups with new pups in their space. However, I will ensure your pup is safe and well cared for in your own home for our visits! I, myself, have an escape artist, so outdoor play is always highly supervised, as is the opening and closing of doors. Rest assured your pup will be safe and well cared for in my care!

I have experience with resource guarding and nervous dogs. If your dog presents any behavioral or physical challenges, please make me aware so I can tailor my care to them. :)
A typical day
I am an avid walker, and my pups and I love to take sniff walks...slow, allowing them to really get exhausted from all the smells! If your pup is more of a power walker, I'm up for that, too! I am also great at fetch and tug of war! Or, if your dog is more of a couch potato that just needs a potty break, I give a great behind the ear scratch :). I can get creative with feeding time, coming up with different games/ways to get dogs' minds active while feeding.

Availability
Right now, my evenings are open (6:15-9 pm) and my weekends are completely open when I am in town! I am definitely flexible on weekends. I am a homebody!
