Hi! I'm Cat, and I love taking care of dogs! 😹 I'm a total animal lover, and when you travel I think your pets should have a great time, filled with fun, healthy treats, and scratches! I am personally *INSURED & BONDED* & have private clientele that I’m always looking to add to! I aim to provide you with flexibility and peace of mind while providing your pet with outstanding care. I will go above and beyond to meet your pet's needs and ensure that we all have a great experience! I have worked with anxious and temperamental animals, as well as administered medicine and hospice care. Currently, I have a few consistent clients but I am looking for more! 24/7 care is available & negotiable!

Catherine was great with our two basset hounds. She stayed overnight for 3 days and provided updates and photos which made us feel more comfortable on our trip. She is very personable and the dogs loved her right away. We hope to have her watch them again when we go on our next trip!
Catherine is personable and dogable....meaning dogs and people like her. She was great with my two bois, one of whom can be a challenge. I felt comfortable with my dogs and home in her care. I'll definitely be working with her in the future.
Cat was great. Took care of our Pomchi in our home while we were away. She was on time and attentive and our dog was happy and relaxed upon our return.
Catherine was absolutely wonderful with my pup pups. They both have major social anxiety and she was such a good sport about my Boogie Boo who is extremely verbal when guests arrive. She had both pups calm and sitting on her lap super quick. I sincerely appreciated receiving photos while I was away and her rapid response when I would reach out eased my anxiety. I highly recommend Catherine as a loving, responsive canine companion.

I don't currently offer boarding, though I will take care of your pet and your home as if they are my own. I always follow the 'campsite' rule: leave a place better than you found it. I will keep your home clean, clean up after your pets, and do household tasks, like watering plants or taking in your mail. I allow dogs/cats to sleep on the bed with me unless the owner objects, and am more than willing to cook for your animal's dietary needs. When walking, I will do my best to keep your animal safe and watch for/avoid any of their personal triggers. I will also continue their training while you're away, under your or your trainer's instruction.

A typical day
My typical day includes 2-3 meals and a 3/4 walk schedule, but between walks/meals I am a master of tug-o-war and fetch-me-if-you-can! I also love to keep pets active while learning with enrichment and different types of games, but am always down to be a couch-potato with a lazy-bones. Pups and cats can't resist my scratches and pats, which are abundant! (Note: I practice 'touch consent' with animals, so I only scratch if they want it). Depending on where you live, I may walk or drive your pet to the beach, to go on a hike, or find somewhere smelly to smell to keep them entertained and happy! Any trips will be planned ahead of time with you.

Availability
I will spend as much time with your animal as they want to spend with me. My basic schedule for dogs is usually a morning & night feeding, walk every 4 hours, with playing & enrichment dispersed throughout the day! This will change depending on your pet's needs, and I'll work with you/them to best suit them. Typically, I don't leave any animal (other than fish) for more than a few hours at a given time to maintain the 4-hour walk/enrichment schedule, though this may vary depending on your pet. Any time a pet goes outside and comes back in for an extended period of time, I clean their paws with wipes or a pawcleaner.
